Procedures to Receive Public Subsidy for TB Treatment
Application should be made by a patient or his/her gurdian to a HC in charge of their residence.
Doctor's comment on a treatment planincluding the regimen of chemotherapy and the results of bacteriological examinations and chest X-ray films should be accompanied.
Application shoud be repeated every 6 months.
Measures to Improve and Maintain Quality of TB Treatment under Integrared Health Service (1)
Public Subsidy for Expenses of TB
Treatment : Half of expenses of TB treatment is covered by public funds under TB control law.
TB Advisory Committee in Each Health Center : The committee consisting of 5 members , director of HC, 2 TB experts and 2 representatives of local medical associations checks the application for subsidy, and its implementation upon approval of the committee.
